"I have received your two letters & I highly appreciate the attention that you have given me in this matter. I also remember with pleasure and gratitude the many years that you have been doing the same thing, but do not bother to send me any more clippings as I am sure to get them through a friend who has a clippings from some agency sent to him & after looking them over sends them to me . . . I depend on my brother as art critic & he writes me after seeing my pictures that the 'West Point: Prouts Neck' is one of the enterprising pictures of modern art when one considers the pillar of salt (formerly Lots wife) in connection with that sunset glow."<
