A very late printing of the map. There are decorative borders on the sides and on top, but there is no decorative border on the bottom. The first issue of the map had decorative borders on all sides. Later issues had no borders. There is no text on the verso of the map. When issued by Hondius there were six languages in use on the verso. The inset top right on this copy is labeled "Cartage" rather than "Cartagena." Burden dates this map to 1659 with an unknown or anonymous publisher. He does not address whether there were three or four decorative borders on this particular issue. An interesting curiosity. sold as is.
