Framed Christy was commissioned to design this poster by the director of the Constitution's Sesquicentennial Commission. The project eventually resulted in a 20 by 30 foot painting on the same theme which currently hangs in the U.S. Capitol. This patriotic allegory features a typical Christy girl hovering over a scene of America's founding fathers signing the Constitution.
