Parchment manuscript document issued under the authority of Henry V, text in Latin in brown ink in an English secretarial hand, 23 lines; cuff turned up along the bottom edge, the large wax royal seal attached and suspended by a strip of parchment; chipping and losses seal, which measures 4 3/4 x 4 in. and depicts Henry V riding into battle on horseback on one side, and the sovereign seated on a throne on the other; this particular seal was made after the Treaty of Troyes [21 May 1420] as Henry is also identified as the Regent of France in the text surrounding; seal chipped with loss; the document 15 1/4 x 9 1/4 in.
