Perrault (1872-1929) studied at the Detroit School of Art and in Paris and Brussels. She probably learned the white-line color woodcut process in Provincetown or from other Michigan artists who had worked there, such as Ada Gilmore or Hope Vorhees Pfeiffer. Her brother, Raoul, printed and signed all of her woodcuts.
