IMOGEN CUNNINGHAM (1883-1976) Agave 8. Silver print, the image measuring 8¾x6½ inches (22.2x16.5 cm.), the sheet 10x8 inches (25.4x20.3 cm.), with the typed title on recto; accompanied by a letter of authentication by Rondal Partridge. 1928
The letter states: "This vintage print of Agave 8, n.d. has Imogen Cunningham's title typed with the blue-inked ribbon she used in the 1920s. The print also has the characteristic holes from the pins she used to hold the paper on the vertical easel she had in her studio at 4540 Harbor View, Oakland, California. This is authenticated by Ronald Partridge, Imogen Cunningham's son, Trustee of the Imogen Cunningham Trust. Dated: 30 Dec '90"
