Folio, 287x210 mm, contemporary blind-tooled calf over wooden boards with brass catches and clasps, with panel of lozenges formed by undulating vinework on front cover and by intersecting diagonal fillets on rear cover, rebacked, endpapers and leather clasp straps renewed; few small wormholes through first half of volume not impairing legibility, soiling and ink smudges on first few leaves, spotting across blank lower margin of a7v-a8r, toning on l1.8, o4.5, q4.5, and v3, few early marginalia, contents otherwise generally clean.
