Folio, 308x214 mm, contemporary Italian blind-tooled goatskin over wooden boards with scallop border around plaitwork panel on covers, brass catches and 3 (of 4) later clasps, rebacked retaining original backstrip; contents dampwrinkled with occasional marginal dampstaining and soiling, minor marginal worming at beginning and end not affecting text, scattered contemporary marginalia, initial blank shaved along fore edge, coat of arms on a2r partly oxidized with resulting small hole, early notes and drawings on endleaves including depictions of tower on front endpapers; N.T. written in ink on top, fore, and bottom edges. wide-margined copy.
