Printer's woodcut device on verso of first leaf and recto of last leaf; woodcut foliate border and 15-line initial on [a]2r; another border on [b]1r; 35 illustrations printed from 20 blocks; numerous small coats-of-arms. Apart from woodcut roundels in text, almost all woodcut matter hand-colored at an early date. [8], 330 leaves, but with [b]1 bound after [a]1. Gothic type. Rubricated. 4to, 267x192 mm, later 17th-century mottled calf, rebacked; margins trimmed entering borders, sidenotes, some headlines, and top line of text on [S]8r, marginal soiling through most of volume, scattered stains, most conspicuous at end, repaired clean tears in [q]2, [K]3, and [M]7, minor restoration in blank portion of a few other leaves, Latin title lettered in ink on blank recto of first leaf, early inscriptions and scrawls on [E]8v and last page.
