IRAKLI M. TOIDZE [THE MOTHERLAND IS CALLING.] 1941. 40x28 inches. Condition B+: restored losses in margins and corners; vertical and horizontal folds. Japan. One of the earliest of the Russian World War II posters, this image "appeared soon after the German invasion of Russia in 1941" (Zeman p. 41).
