Ibsen, Henrik (1828-1906)
Poems.

New York: Vincent FitzGerald & Company, 1987.

First limited edition, quarto, number 7 of 20 Artist's proofs signed in pencil by Feingold, title printed in red and black; illustrated with one four-panel folding color lithograph and five original color engravings by Neil Welliver protected by original guards; bound in handwoven multi-color cloth designed by Sarah Dochow; original typed publisher's advertisement and author biography laid in; contained in a special red silk clamshell box by David Boubeau; 11 1/2 in x 8 1/2 in.

This stunning project by Vincent FitzGerald & Company beautifully marries Welliver's images to Ibsen's early poetry. This artist's proof was likely given to Feingold for his contributions as translator.

Property from the Estate of Michael Feingold (1945-2022).
