Identification papers. A grouping German military and other identification papers for Max Nowak, a mechanical engineer who was transferred via Project Paperclip to Ft. Bliss, Texas, after World War II. He worked with Wernher von Braun's team at White Sands, New Mexico, and later at Huntsville, Alabama. Includes his German Army Service Record book with picture identification and various date stamps, a workbook providing Nowak's certification to work at German metal and chemical related industries, and his March 1945 drivers license. Each document is approximately 4x7 inches with staple bindings.
