Little is known about the artist, except for a small handful of posters he designed for events around Montevideo and Uruguay, including another beach travel poster as well as the 1942 poster for the XIV South American Football Championship in Uruguay. In 1941, Mildred Constantin wrote about posters from Latin America for AD Magazine and referred to the artist as "Y. Bonelli."
