Built in 1931, The King David Hotel sits atop a hill overlooking the old city of Jerusalem, including the Tower of David. The hotel has always been one of Jerusalem's most prestigious. Designed in the style of turn-of-the-century hotel posters as championed by Mario Borgonin the unknown artist here has even co-opted Borgoni's signature monogram. This is a rare variant with an extra text banner, in English, Arabic and Hebrew, offering discount rates to visitors of the Levant Fair.
