Stunning presentation album containing 76 photographs of Mexico and the western U. S., with many bright views by Jackson, and views by taber (7), fiske (5), and perkins (5). Includes views of architecture; occupational scenes of men and women on horses, making pottery, and doing daily activities; a variety of majestic views of Yosemite; picturesque scenes of San Francisco; beautiful images of Colorado, including the Garden of the Gods and Pike's Peak. Albumen prints, 93/4x131/4 to 31/2x21/4 inches (24.8x33.7 to 8.9x5.7 cm.) and the reverse, many with the photographer's credit and/or title in the negative, mounted one to 7 per page.
