A Midwestern painter, engraver and etcher, Euston (1892-1965) studied art at the Cleveland School of Art and at the Art Institute of Chicago. He began exhibiting his paintings and etchings shortly after 1920 and was a regular contributor to annual exhibitions at the Art Institute of Chicago, the Hoosier Salon, Indiana, and with the American Artists Professional League. Aside from his Midwestern landscapes, Euston also gained a popular following for his scenes of California and New Mexico.
