Little historical record remains of what must have been a large and elegant store in Lausanne, except for a series of posters designed through the decades. Among the artists who helped immortalize the store was Charles Loupot, who designed a poster for them in 1918. Here, the artist uses a black cat to help emphasize the white of the sheets in the month-long white sale.
