According to Lieure, early impressions such as this, in the first state, are extremely rare, "Malheureusement le cuivre était sans doute trop tendre, il ne donna qu'un très petit nombre de très belles épreuves, devenues extrêmement rare aujourd'hui." Lieure 478.
