Etching and drypoint printed in dark brownish black on Japan paper, 1863. 132x210 mm; 5 1/4x8 1/4 inches. Edition of approximately only 26. MacDonald's eighth state (of 8). Signed with the butterfly and inscribed "imp" in pencil on the tab, lower left. A superb impression of this extremely scarce etching.
