Blauw watermark. A superb, richly-inked impression, with all the delicate lines in the sky printing clearly. With burr throughout and with strong contrasts overall.
In this final state, the composition is complete and Whistler has shaded the hull of the boat in the center between the two men. Kennedy 66.
