Lithograph on cream wove paper, 1890. 170x175 mm; 6 3/4x6 7/8 inches, full margins. Ex-collection Alfred Beurdeley (Lugt 421, lower left recto). A very good impression.

This lithograph depicts the interior of a wheelwright's workshop in Chelsea. The former owner of this lithograph, the Parisian Beurdeley, was one of the most celebrated collectors of the late 19th-century. He amassed a stunning group of more than 28,000 master prints during his lifetime. Way 27; Levy 41; Spink 36.
