Condition B: restored losses, repaired tears, creases, abrasions and overpainting in margins and image. "Australian poster artists occasionally used aboriginal figures in their imagery, usually in the noble savage pose so popular during the thirties with documentary photographers and anthropologists" (Monash p. 8). This image, complete with an aborigine tribesman, a boomerang and a kangaroo, went straight to the heart of the exotic, wild, historical and cultural attractions of the continent.
