A stage actress who originated 2 of the most substantial characters of the American stage, Regina Giddens in Lillian Hellman's The Little Foxes (1939) and Sabrina in Thornton Wilder's The Skin of Your Teeth (1943), Talullah is best remembered as a witty radio personality with a volcanic presence. Julien Levy was the art dealer of the Surrealists, with galleries in both New York and Paris.
