Promotional flyer for the release of the Sex Pistols single, God Save The Queen.
The Sex Pistols released their single on May 27th, 1977, coinciding with the Queen's Silver Jubilee in June of 1977. The image caused such scandal that workers at the pressing plant refused to print the sleeve, and the BBC banned the song with major retailers refusing to stock it. Despite that, the song went on to top the charts and was recently re-released in 2022 for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee.
