Tulgey Woods is watercolor on parchment. 203x216 mm; 8x8 1/2 inches, sight size. Signed in pencil, lower left. Humpty is watercolor on paper, 127x89 mm; 5x3 1/2 inches, sight size, printed text description, both pieces cut and collage mounted to paper, signed in pencil, lower right. Both archivally matted and framed.

Additional Details

Two images from Zalben's popular "Jabberwocky" book. Both illustrations were chosen to be exhibited in shows at Justin G. Schiller, Ltd., the Morgan Library, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art. They are being offered for the first time in celebration of the 150th anniversary of Lewis Carroll's classic, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland.
