Additional Details

Composite atlas put together by Wolfgang, with non-uniform sized maps. Contemporary letterpress map list at rear; this copy lacking two listed maps. Majority of the maps are by the Blaeus. None of the maps with text on verso. Double-hemispheric world map partially reinforced with strapping tape on recto, map of Europe defective, map of Africa defective, folding map of the Rhine with heavily reinforced tears on verso, the Wit map of the Americas trimmed just outside the neat lines on left-hand sheet, Mar del Nort map somewhat offset, all maps with rounded lower corners. Despite these faults most of the maps are entirely presentable, many of them being quite fresh.
