"Be pleased to prepare Pardons for Peter Post, and John van Blaricum, who at a court of Oyer and Terminer held in & for this City & County in March last, were convicted of forgery; & sentenced to imprisonment for Life in the State Prison, at hard labour & in solitude and untill such State Prison be built and ready for the Reception of Prisoners that they be confined in the gaol of the City & County of N York."
