First state (of 2), before the number upper left and the printer's address lower margin; in this state a proof aside from the published edition of 50. One of only three known proofs, according to Melot. Published by Alfred Robaut, Paris. From Douze Croquis et Dessins Originaux sur Papier Autographique de Corot. A superb impression of this exceedingly scarce lithograph.
