JEAN COLIN (1912-1982) PAQUET. 39x24 1/2 inches, 99x62 cm. Condition B+: repaired tears, creases and abrasions in margins and image. Jean Colin studied at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris and produced several posters for social propaganda purposes during the German occupation of WWII. Named after its founder Nicolas Paquet, the Compagnie de Navigation Paquet operated primarily between France and Morocco, but also to destinations on the Black Sea.
