Droit was a painter and illustrator who designed several posters for France during World War I and several travel posters in the years between the wars. He is best known for his poster designed for the 1924 Olympic Games in Paris. He created two posters for Britain's LNER, each with wonderfully gleeful, long-limbed, graceful and rosy-cheeked vacationers. rare. We could find only two copies at auction since 1988.
