Picking up Cappiello's mantel when he left the Vercasson printing house for Devambez in 1919, Jean d'Ylen's work is similar in color, style and humor to his predecessor. Here he personifies the spirit in a bottle of Asti Spumante by giving the bottle a face, and turning the fizz into a head of hair. All of this is not lost on the happy drinker, who is dancing with joy at having found his soul mate.
