Folio, 285x186 mm, contemporary London binding of calf over wooden boards blind-tooled to panel design formed by concentric rolls of Tudor emblems and miscellaneous ornaments, later brass catches and clasps, rebacked, endpapers conspicuously renewed; contents lightly dampwrinkled with occasional minor marginal dampstaining, title soiled, reinforced in gutter and upper outer corner on verso, restoration along fore edge of A6 and B1, small hole in 2D5 affecting a few letters, partly repaired wormholes in blank outer margins toward end, dark stains in upper portion of last several leaves.
