Miró first produced this plate in 1951 as a deluxe greeting card for Galerie Maeght, Paris, and later reworked it, adding figural etchings, in 1962 to illustrate a deluxe edition of Anti-Platon by Yves Bonnefoy. Dupin 73; Cramer 77.
