JOAN MIRÓ
A Poem for Diane Bouchard.

Relief etching printed in black on cream wove paper, 1947. 137x174 mm; 5 1/2x6 3/4 inches, full margins. One of only several proofs (there was no published edition). Signed, dated, inscribed "epreuve d'essai" and dedicated "pour Todd" in pencil, lower margin. Printed at Atelier 17, New York. A very good impression of this extremely scarce, early print.

One of six etchings that were the result of a collaboration among Miró, Ruthven Todd and Stanley W. Hayter at Atelier 17, New York, during the summer of 1947. Dupin volume I, pp. 16-17.
