Relief etching printed in black on cream wove paper, 1947. 177x140 mm; 7x5 1/2 inches, full margins. One of only several proofs (there was no published edition). Signed, dated, inscribed "epreuve d'essai" and dedicated "pour Todd" in pencil, lower margin. Printed at Atelier 17, New York. A very good impression of this extremely scarce, early print.
