Etching, 1938. 100x80 mm; 3 7/8x3<1/8> inches, full margins. Signed and numbered 105/150 in pencil, lower margin. Printed by Atelier 17, Paris. Published by Guy Lévis Mano, Paris. From the same-titled portfolio with text by Paul Éluard. A very good impression of this scarce, early etching.

This etching is part of the same-titled portfolio that was produced to aid the Spanish Republican Children's Fund cause during the Spanish Civil War. The series was printed at Atelier 17, founded by Stanley W. Hayter. The collection features etchings by Spanish artists such as Miró and Pablo Picasso, but also includes prints by Yves Tanguy and André Masson, and poems by surrealist poet Paul Éluard. Dupin 42.
