The clipped letter, including only a salutation in holograph: "Dear Sir your / Most Obdt Hbl Serv't / Jno Glover," and a name in holograph on verso [presumably the clipped letter's recipient]: "Stephen Sewall." 1 1/4x4 inches; mounted along one edge to first page of Hooper's letter at middle left.
