This rare poster was advertising train travel for a one-day, cosmic event - a solar eclipse on August 31, 1932, which would be especially visible in New England. It illustrates vignettes of people enjoying the rare occurrence and the path the eclipse would take. The same vignettes were also used by the railroad on various brochures advertising eclipse excursions to Provincetown, MA and Fabyan, NH.
