Upper Manhattan's Cathedral of St. John the Divine is one of the two largest Anglican Cathedrals in the world and the world's fifth largest Christian church. Construction began in 1892 and has continued, intermittently through the early years of the 21st century. The planned towers and additions, as shown on this scarce poster from the New York World's Fair, were never completed. Vickery was an Australian artist, painter and illustrator who designed several posters.
