This portrait of the owner of The Spike, Charles M. Thompson, generally known as Chuck or C.T., hung at the bar through the 1990s. He is depicted in front of the Spike on a motorcycle in full leather riding gear and Harley Davidson t-shirt, with a guitar slung across his back. The artist John Zak was best known for large-scale paintings of flowers in the 1970s.
