Additional Details

First edition, with corrections thought to be by the author's son. An introductory note explains: "The greatest Part of these Remarks are original, and may be considered as a Second Volume of President Edwards's Miscellaneous Observations; but, as they relate to Subjects entirely different, make by themselves a Book." Provenance: the author's son Jonathan Edwards Jr. (1745-1801), a noted theologian in his own right; and his daughter Mary Edwards (1773-1864), with her later bookplate as Mary Hoyt. Sabin 21967n.
