number 217 of 250 copies on Barcham Green mould-made paper from a total edition of 337. The play was performed in Chester from the 14th to the 16th centuries. This edition is based on the manuscript transcribed in 1607 and features the same illustrations as the Golden Cockerel Press version of 1927 but with a superior transcript. Laid in is a Typed Letter Signed from publisher Douglas Cleverdon with a manuscript note about the limitation of the prospectuses for this edition; not included, though prospectuses for two other works laid in.
