Oil on canvas board, 1970. 559x711 mm; 22x28 inches. Signed and dated in oil, lower right recto (painted over an older signature). Signed, titled and inscribed with the artist's addresses "704 Sixth Ave." and "33 Union Square West, NYC 10003" in ink on a fragment of the original backing paper, mounted on the frame back.
Provenance: acquired directly from the artist, private collection.
Joseph Delaney taught painting at the Vermont Academy, a private coed prep school, with a Ford Foundation grant in 1968.
