first edition of the french translation, signed by joyce just over a month after publication on front free endpaper: "James Joyce / Paris / 24 avril 1924." Trade issue (35 copies on handmade paper were also issued, 10 of which were not for sale). Republished by Gallimard in 1943. An excellent copy, uncommon with signature. Slocum and Cahoon D15.
