Number 708 of 750 copies on handmade paper. The first printing of Ulysses consisted of 1000 copies comprising three various limitations: the first 100 were printed on Dutch handmade paper, numbered and signed by Joyce; copies 101-250 were printed on Verge d'Arches paper, not signed; and the final 750, as here, were numbered 251-1000 and printed on a lesser grade of handmade paper and like the previous limitation, were not signed by Joyce.
