Folding double-page double-hemispheric world map (in second state, with "gentes" added below "Iektan" in cartouche at lower left), 2 folding maps of the Holy Land, and 10 (of 13) folding engraved plates by Pieter Huys and Johan Wierix; lacks plates m, n, and q. 4to, contemporary limp vellum with remnants of thong ties; contents toned with scattered foxing and stains, world map somewhat worn along edges with partial separation at intersection of folds in center, Holy Land maps and a few plates crudely reinforced on verso, several small portions of image excised from plates E and P. The world map illustrates the dispersion of the descendants of Noah, with some shown to have ended up in North and South America.
