Condition A-: minor restoration along vertical and horizontal folds. Two sheets. Chéret designed more than forty posters for this department store in the 1880s. Despite being from a period before Chéret developed his full color palette, the image is infused with life and movement. Arguably one of Chéret's most charming images for the store, the poster has become exceptionally famous for its appearance as part of the set on the hit television series Friends, in Monica's apartment.
