Among Cheret's largest advertising accounts were Paris' larger department stores, including Les Buttes Chaumont and La Place Clichy. Here Cheret employs an elongated format and creates, in his style that is often compared to Tiepolo, a cascade of children and toys. Sagot refered to this poster as "one of his [Cheret's] masterpieces" and from the image, with its unique composition that is so filled with movement, one can understand why Cheret had very few artistic competitors.
