An orange-haired little girl in a pale yellow outfit and red leggings is trying on a new bonnet; against a blue background, lettering in red, yellow and blue. Cheret began designing advertisements for this Parisian hat emporium as early as 1888. In 1892 he designed a poster featuring a little girl and her mother trying on hats, and the image of the little girl was reused on at least two other posters, once in 1894 and again for this poster.
