Kadir Nelson is a fine artist and illustrator whose work has appeared in Sports Illustrated, The New York Times and The New Yorker. His work has also appeared in such films and television shows as "Friday,""Set it Off," "The Fresh Prince of Bel Air," and "The Jaimie Foxx Show." Most notably, he was the conceptual artist for the film Amistad and the companion book Give Us Free which contained preproduction artwork from the film. Mr. Nelson also has won gold and silver medals from the Society of Illustrators."
